Brand new track - Robotic Perfection!!
February 21 2010
An exciting new track called ‘Robotic Perfection’ from ALICE ROCK's third album, Kill or Cure has been made available on the alice-rock.co.uk music page for preview and download. When visiting the page, you will also notice that the titles of all not yet released tracks are now partially visible – but can you guess them I wonder? Oooh the hours of fun!
I think maybe I have overdosed on Belinda Carlisle as the cheeky up-key in the final chorus just came naturally :-)
- Alice, ALICE ROCK
Robotic perfection is a somewhat attacking and partly dark number with a strong Egyptian sounding riff based on an Egyptian piece that Alice learnt as a child during piano lessons. In her usual cutting style Alice vocally impersonates the thoughts of a woman unhappy with her appearance. A person willing to sell everything in order to cover the costs of 'fitting in' so that she can fall in line with what the song describes as the 'Robotic race of perfection' – a state of mind capable of hiding one’s best assets. This song continues the futuristic and de-humanising imagery displayed in some of the tracks already released from Kill or Cure.
Robotic Perfection can be previewed and downloaded from the music page and the lyrics are also available on the lyrics page.
